What is Bug0 Studio?
Bug0 Studio is a tool that turns your recorded or described workflows into ready-to-run Playwright tests. You can upload or record a session, set your site details, and generate a test script in minutes. It’s designed to speed up QA without heavy setup.
What are the rate limits?
You can send up to 10 requests per minute right now, which should cover most small test runs without issue.
How do I submit a request?
You can describe a flow in plain text, upload a video (mp4/webm/quicktime) up to 50 MB, or record your current tab directly from the app.
Can I pre-fill site settings?
Yes, open “Site setup” to add a base URL, a Playwright storageState, and optional login email/password to be reused in generated tests.
How do I upload or record a video?
Use “Upload video” to pick an mp4/webm/quicktime up to 50 MB, or “Record tab” to capture your current tab.
Can I run without a base URL?
No. The app prompts for a base URL before protected actions so generated tests have a target site.
What if I get stuck generating steps?
You can toggle editable steps, adjust them, and resend to refine the output.
What kind of tests does it generate?
We generate Playwright tests so you can run modern browser automation right away.
Where do I get the generated test?
When available, a preview link appears during generation; you can open it to inspect without downloading.
Can I persist login state?
Yes, add a Playwright storageState or credentials in “Site setup” to reuse auth across runs.
What happens if the video is too large?
Files over 50 MB are rejected with a size warning so you can pick a smaller clip.
How can I get higher rate limits?
If you need more throughput, ask in Discord and we can bump your limit.
Does it support mobile app testing?
Not yet. It’s browser-only for now, but mobile testing is on the roadmap.
Which LLM providers are used?
We rely on Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude for the AI work.
What other technologies are used?
Behind the scenes we use the Vercel AI SDK, AI Gateway, BrowserBase, and Azure infrastructure.
Where are tests stored?
We don’t store your tests anywhere; they’re generated on the fly.
Do you store conversation data?
No. Conversations aren’t stored right now, so your prompts stay local to your session.
Is the platform free?
It’s free at the moment while we solidify the product and figure out a fair pricing model.
What will pricing look like in the future?
No final plan yet. We’ll talk with the community before settling on pricing.
Is the platform ready for enterprise use?
Yes. It’s stable enough for enterprise rollouts, and we’re already working on major updates for larger teams.
